Ohio Guiding Star
A one of a kind star made at the turn of the century was the inspiration for this
quilt from my personal collection. The provenance known of the original quilt is that it was made in
Summit County, Ohio, by Aunt Helen Gardner born in 1877 to Theodore and Charlotte Gardner.
The family name for the quilt was "The Guiding Star" but it is also called Crown and Star.

Ault Star Quilt and Wall Hanging
A variation on the reproduction of The Ault Star Quilt in my private collection, the original quilt was made in the later part of the 19th century and due to its characteristics and the signature on the back, inferences are that the quilt was made in the Ohio area at that time. The block name is unknown but would be wonderful created as a signature quilt.
2 sizes available:
Approximate size of wall hanging - 33" x 33"
Approximate size of quilt - 85" x 95"
